Alexandra’s role involves dealing with Land Registry, Stamp Duty online submissions and keeping regular contact with clients, estate agents and other solicitors during the conveyancing process. Alexandra is developing her knowledge and understanding of conveyancing with the support and supervision of BES Legal Limited.

As a Solicitor, Ashley is involved with acting for clients in respect of business acquisitions and disposals as well as advising, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts. Ashley has a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Birmingham. Previously, he has carried out a Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution seat, that included Landlord and Tenant matters involving repossessions and disrepair claims. After having started out as a member of the Litigation department he continues to act for various trade creditor clients.

Imran joined us in 2020 having qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2016. Imran has a wealth of experience of various transaction including leasehold, right to buy and transfer of equity. In 2012 he completed a postgraduate qualification in Law and gained valuable experience in the Personal Injury sector attaining favourable damages for his clients. Prior to pursuing a career in law, Imran graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Marketing Retail Management degree in 2001 and worked for numerous sales companies within the FMCG sector.

Maureen had previously been with the firm for 10 years as Personal Assistant to Nicholas Taylor and Accounts Manager. She has undertaken relevant training on the SRA accounts rules and is responsible for client account transactions for the various legal matters handled by the firm. Maureen has a wealth of experience and prides herself on her attention to detail.

Nickeisha attained LLB Hons Law 2:1, Legal Practice and LLM (Masters of Law) at the University of Wolverhampton and prior to joining the team, volunteered at a private practice specialising in Property and Family Law. Nickeisha works in our Conveyancing Department dealing with property freehold and leasehold transactions. Her duties include raising contractual enquiries, search enquiries, draft mortgage deed and report, search report, title reports, post and pre-completion matter, arranging indemnities and clients ID verification. She takes pride in her work and is very keen to venture into other areas of law within BES Legal Limited to further progress her career.

After studying law at school Poppi completed her Level 2 in Business Administration gaining invaluable communication and administrative skills. Poppi has previously undertaken a Legal Assistant role focusing on debt recovery matters which enhanced her drafting skills and her knowledge and implementation of the CPR Rules to all litigation matters.

Poppi assists in the Civil Litigation and Commercial Dispute Resolution department in our Walsall office focusing on debt recovery and breach of contract claims. Her duties range from effective diary management and maintenance of filing records to conduct of debt recovery files allocated to the small claims track, drafting pre-action correspondence, statements of case and enforcement of judgments obtained.

Samah assists on all aspects of the residential transaction process. She assists at various stages of transactions including initial client instruction and post completion work. She has previously studied Business and Law at college and has also attained her Level 2 in Business Administration QCF. Sanjeev was educated at Birmingham City University and holds an honours degree in Law. Qualifying as a Solicitor in 2004 he is experienced in all property matters, gaining his experience in some prominent regional firms and subsequently running a city firm based in the heart of Birmingham before pursuing his interest in property development, which he continues to do today. Sanjeev specialises in Commercial Property providing pragmatic, straightforward plain English advice by listening to his client’s needs. He is retained by number of Landowners, Landlords, Investor Clients, Small Business Owners and Large Developers advising on matters from Freehold and Leasehold sales, transfers of equity, remortgages, title splits, commercial leases, business purchases to developments including all associated licensing work.

Sarah joined BES Legal Limited in July 2019 and has significant experience in a wide range of transactions including; mortgages, title defects and matrimonial transfers. Sarah has over 30 years Conveyancing experience. She began her career in conveyancing at Johnston and Co in Walsall before moving to Cox McQueen Howard Tain in Aldridge. She is well known in the Walsall community among local estate agents, mortgage brokers and investor clients.

Saskia also assists with new commercial leases, business purchases, small developments, assignment of leases and general small business property requirements. Saskia has a broad understanding of all the financial aspects of a transaction, including apportionment of rent and service charges, as well as paying Stamp Duty Land Tax. She currently assists Sanjeev Kalair with the various areas of residential and commercial properties.

Zoe graduated from Nottingham Trent University having attained a 2:1 (Hons) LLB before completing her postgraduate diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Law in Birmingham.

After qualifying into a Litigation position in October 2018 Zoe has vast experience in all types of civil claims of any value, from Small Claims matters to complex Multi-Track disputes in the County and High Courts involving contractual disputes and debt recovery.

Zoe continues to act for clients in relation to civil disputes at BES Legal Limited and is also involved in acting for clients in respect of Family matters including injunction orders, divorce and financial matters.
